SEX AND THE VILLAGE - AMATEUR PRODUCTION

In conjunction with launching our licensing catalogue at the end of 2012 we advertised a competition for one amateur group to be able to produce this new musical comedy, royalty free and to work in partnership with us through their rehearsal and production process.
We also offered the winners the chance to record a full demo of the show alongside West End Performers and in return for producing the premiere production they will receive an on-going royalty in future productions of the musical.
The selected group was Bury St Edmunds amateur operatic and dramatic society. This marks the 110th year that the society have been performing at the Theatre Royal, Bury and they have never produced a new British musical before… so now seems as good a time as any!
